This back-to-school season, East Hills Veterinary Clinic and Red Bank Veterinary Hospital are teaming up to make a difference for pets in need with our Stuff the KONG! event, benefiting Cincinnati Animal CARE.
Join us for a fun-filled Facebook LIVE event as we stuff KONG toys to help provide enrichment and comfort for shelter pets. Every stuffed KONG can give a dog or cat something positive to focus on while they wait for their next chapter—and your participation helps support the lifesaving work of Cincinnati Animal CARE.

It’s an easy way to have some fun, support shelter animals, and start the school year by spreading a little kindness.

For a shelter pet, enrichment can make a meaningful difference.
KONG toys can provide dogs with opportunities for mental stimulation, engagement, and positive play while they are in a shelter environment. Through this event, we’re helping bring a little extra enrichment to animals who are waiting for their forever homes.
KONG and the stuffing for this event are being provided by KONG, allowing our community to come together and help fill these toys for shelter pets.
A simple KONG can mean:
- Something to do.
- Something to enjoy.
- Something to look forward to.
And most importantly, it's another way for our community to show shelter pets that they matter.
Supporting Cincinnati Animal CARE
The Cincinnati Animal CARE Humane Society is Hamilton County’s open, stray-intake municipal animal shelter and serves as a vital resource for animals and families throughout the community.
CARE’s mission is centered on providing animals with individualized care, lifesaving solutions, and temporary shelter while working toward safe and compatible homes. The organization also works to reunite lost pets with their families, reduce the stray population, promote adoption and rescue, and provide resources that help people care for their pets.
Cincinnati Animal CARE cares for more than 8,000 animals each year, making community support essential to the organization’s ability to provide food, veterinary care, enrichment, shelter, and other resources to animals in need.
